Hello! My name is Mackenzie Reagan-Hadley, and I am a painter, illustrator and writer from Animas, New Mexico. When it comes to illustration, I specialize in book and narrative pieces. When it comes to painting, I enjoy dramatic landscape, animals and plein air painting a la prima where ever there’s good hiking.

Growing up on a cattle ranch in New Mexico, I flourished in the brilliance of the surrounding wilderness, which has easily become the most inspirational influence on my art. A little over a year ago I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Illustration where I began honing my skills as a visual designer and painter through an understanding of color theory, composition and style exploration to bring myself to a level of professionalism where I can properly translate the ideas and stories in my head onto a blank canvas in front of me. When I'm not furiously painting away hours at my easel, you can find me hiking, fishing, reading or working cattle on horseback with the crew.
